| A conservatorship is required when a person is no longer able to properly manage their finances or personal care. This may happen if there is no Estate Plan in place, or if the Estate Plan is not adequately meeting the needs of the incapacitated person (the Conservatee). Upon petition to the Court, the Court may appoint a person (the Conservator) to handle the financial and personal care of the incapacitated person. This process can be complex and time consuming. We minimize the frustration by guiding you through the process.
Teresa Gorman is regularly appointed by the Court to serve as attorney for incapacitated persons. The firm also represents professional Conservators, handling some of the most complicated cases in Southern California.
